It had taken Angelica a good bit of time to get off that god forsaken island. With a bit of luck she had managed to flag down a ship. They were easy enough to persuade to take her to Tortuga. It was rather easy as well to mention the gold that was there. Needless to say there was no gold, and she had bailed the second they reached shore. It was the first place she would think of to look for Jack Sparrow. That bastard of a man that left her there in the first place. Oh when she got her hands on him she was going to rip him limb from limb. There would be nothing left but the skull she kept as a trophy. It took her a few days of sitting in disguise and watching to finally find when Jack would come in. She didn’t want to alert him right away that she was there. First she was going to see if he had a plan of action. It seemed not the case just yet, but she was not ever too sure. Then on the one day she decided to mess with him. As the drunk went up to get another rum, she slipped into the spot he had just been at. When he came stumbling back through towards her, she could tell he was rather surprised to see a person in his spot. The look he got when he realized it was Angelica was also quite priceless. “Hello Jack. Did you miss me?”
Jack really should not have been so surprised to see the Spaniard woman standing in front of him. She would of course come after him. A bit like himself she was. Hard headed and stubborn with a bit of female added into the mix made her a force not to mess with. Yet here he was doing just that. With him looking down to her, and a frown of concern on his face, Jack decided it was best to flee. So he did just that. With a quick turn and a small dash he went to leave the pub. To his dumb luck, there would be a large wooden beam there where he went to dash to. There was a loud thunk from him hitting it. He did a turn, stumbled forward with one hand in the air and his pointer finger held up as if he was going to comment, then proceeded to fall flat on his face. Good old Jack. After lying there for a few seconds, he turned onto his back slowly and stood up. “Let’s try that again, shall we?” The pirate turned back towards Angelica, now with a large grin on his face. His arms swept out wide in a greeting sort of way. “Angelica, love! Of course I missed you! Who wouldn’t miss a face like that? Certainly not this man.” Jack took a seat in front of her. “How about a drink? Shall I go find you one?” He was trying to find a way, anyway, to get out of there. Far, far away from Angelica.
Seeing Jack turn to flee made the woman quite angry. In fact she was rather happy to see him smack his face into that board. The more pain the man felt the better. It would be nice to see him suffer. The Spanish woman walked close to him as he stood, making sure he would not attempt to flee again. Angelica took a dagger out from her belt around her waist. She raised an eyebrow down at the pirate, debating on how to scare him. Her blade traced against his cloth shirt, not cutting it but just showing him how close it was to him. “Oh, I do see that. You have not changed, Jack. Never will you be the man I thought you were.” Her voice was harsh, as she was not too happy now that she finally have found him. He was looking for a way to vanish. She could let him go and just go on about her life, or she could go and make his life a living hell. “I would not care for a drink, Jack. I want to sit down and talk.” With the point of her dagger against his neck now, she was fairly certain the man would agree to sitting down and talking. It would be a fool’s choice to turn and run away. Then again, Jack always had a plan in his head for how to vanish. It was a talent she had yet to completely figure out.
The Spanish woman smiled at the memories of the man known as Flynn Rider. “Aye, I knew him. It has been a time since we have been together. Wonder what happened to him?”
Her eyebrow raised, and she crossed her arms. “Let us all know that Jack Sparrow was left by me. Not the other way around. I wish to see that man hang for leaving me on that island!”
Angelica smirked at the gray faced ‘woman’. “Gracias.”
Angelica looked the gray faced man over. “I do believe my father loved me. He had his own reasons for wanting to live. As I had my own reasons for wanting to save him. It is what a child would do for their parents.”
